My Favorite Mom Hacks for Staying Organized

As a busy mom, staying organized is key to keeping my sanity and staying on top of things. Over the years, I’ve discovered some mom hacks that have been total game-changers for me. Here are my top favorites:

  1. Meal planning – I can’t stress this one enough! By taking some time each week to plan out our meals in advance, I’m able to save time, reduce stress, and minimize food waste. Plus, it helps ensure that we’re eating healthy, nutritious meals even on the busiest of days.
  2. A family calendar – Having a central calendar where everyone’s schedule is recorded has been a lifesaver for me. It helps me keep track of appointments, meetings, and events, while also making sure that my partner and kids are on the same page. Plus, it reduces the chances of scheduling conflicts and missed appointments.
  3. A morning routine – I’ve found that having a consistent morning routine can help me start my day off on the right foot. By waking up at the same time each day, engaging in some self-care activities, and setting intentions for the day ahead, I’m able to feel more centered and focused.
  4. A cleaning schedule – Cleaning can be a daunting task, especially when you’re juggling work and family responsibilities. That’s why I’ve created a cleaning schedule that breaks down tasks by day so that I can tackle them in manageable chunks. It’s amazing how much cleaner and more organized our home feels with just a little bit of daily upkeep.
  5. A designated “launchpad” – A launchpad is a designated area in your home where you can keep all of the things you need as you head out the door, such as your keys, phone, and bag. By having a consistent spot for these items, I’m able to avoid the frantic last-minute search for my keys or phone.

These mom hacks have been instrumental in helping me stay organized and on top of things, but what makes them even better is that they’re all sustainable habits that I’ve been able to maintain over time. By making them a part of my daily routine, I’ve been able to streamline my life and reduce stress in the process.
